  20.      your screen. Optionally you can print it out if you wish.

  22. I added support for calling batch files. Some programs want you to run
  23.      their predefined batch file. This version will make a CALL to their
  24.      batch file (if it exists in the program's directory). If a batch file
  25.      does not exist, EZB will search for a (COM) file and if not found, 
  26.      will search for an (EXE) file.

  36. A minor bug fix. Version 1.00 was not properly upgrading correctly from
  37.      some of the beta versions. It would go part way through the install
  38.      and then give an error. It also would lose the batch files. If you
  39.      tried to do the install a second time, it would have upgraded,but
  40.      still would have lost the batch files. The problem was actually with
  41.      the beta versions. I have revised the code so as to protect from the
  42.      beta problems.

  50. The ENTIRE program has been RE-WRITTEN using Microsoft QuickBasic 4.5 .
  51.      The general format is the same as before, but I will be able to
  52.      incorporate better error checking and better screens with QuickBasic.

  54. You DO NOT need ANSI loaded with this version (nor with future versions).

  56. You DO NOT need to use CAPITAL LETTERS for the command parameters.

  58. I got rid of the "CFG" parameter. EZBatch will now configure itself to use
  59.      "C:\EZBATCH" as the installed location. If another program uses that
  60.      directory you must relocate those files to a different directory. (If
  61.      you want to keep them seperate !!).  **IF**  "C:\EZBATCH"  was your
  62.      "OLD" EZBatch directory, everything will be fine as it is. When you
  63.      install the NEW EZBATCH VERSION everything will be upgraded as needed.

  65. I added an "INSTALL" parameter. This will unite the old "CFG" parameter and
  66.      auto-install/upgrade as one process. You should still run the "INSTALL"
  67.      from a floppy drive.

  69.            First time users will run "EZBATCH INSTALL" to auto-install
  70.            EZBatch onto their hard drive and it will automatically 
  71.            configure EZBatch as well.

  73.            Users that are upgrading to a newer version of EZBatch will also
  74.            need to run "EZBATCH INSTALL". This will auto-upgrade their old
  75.            configuration file to the new one. It will then transfer the old
  76.            EZB files to the new configuration and replace the old EZBatch
  77.            program and documentation files with the new ones.

  79. I added a "REGISTER" parameter. Once the registration fee is paid, the user
  80.      will have an assigned registration number. The number allows the user
  81.      to register the program. Once registered, the screen will display up to
  82.      144 batch files on the screen (instead of 24), the duration of the
  83.      sounds will be much shorter and optionally may be disabled if you like.

  85. I added a "SOUND" parameter. This will toggle the sound ON or OFF as desired.
  86.      Simply run "EZBATCH SOUND" to toggle the sounds "OFF" and repeat to turn
  87.      sounds "ON" again. This feature is only active upon registration.

  100. Adjusted the magic menu display to allow more files on the screen without
  101.      having a scrolling problem. A user would get a problem when trying
  102.      to display a lot (about 80 or so) of EZB files.

  104. I implemented a limit on the UNREGISTERED copies of EZBATCH. The unregistered
  105.      copy will allow a total of 24 batch files to be displayed while the
  106.      REGISTERED copy will allow 144 batch files to be displayed. This will
  107.      completely fill the screen without having to go to a second or third
  108.      screen (which would defeat what I wanted to accomplish).

  116. Corrected a programming error which did not allow EZBatch on a system on
  117.      which SHARE.EXE was loaded. It should work correctly now !

  128.      added in the last version would not work with MSDOS 3.3). This new sort
  129.      update will be automatically updated (of course !) when the new version
  130.      is installed from a floppy disk.

  132. Added a file called EZB.EXE (compiled QUICK BASIC 4.5) which handles the
  133.      directory color display and sorting routines. It will be placed into
  134.      the proper directory by the auto install/upgrade procedure.

  139.      It now displays the EZB files in color !!
  140.      It DOES NOT display the file extension. (makes it much more readable)

  152.      GO is typed from the DOS prompt.
